The Donnelly-Browne Promise

Our purpose is to design and build architecturally significant homes of the highest quality and best possible value. We choose to build only a select few homes on an annual basis which allows us to pay particular attention to detail and allows the home buyer great flexibility in customizing the product we offer.

High Quality Experience and Materials

We hire the best subcontractors available and use the finest materials on the market. We use only people who take pride in their work and stand behind it. The materials listed in our specifications are from name-brand suppliers and generally are the best available. Every effort is made to ensure an enduring, efficient, low-maintenance structure which will stand the test of time.

"Green" Building

Our homes are built using “green” building techniques where practical. We pay particular attention to site orientation of the house, fenestration, insulation, and properly designed HVAC systems. Loads and heat loss are accurately calculated for each home based on site conditions and systems are sized appropriately for economical operation. We also attempt to minimize waste during the building process and use materials which are recycled or composite in nature as opposed to large dimensional lumber.

Professional Engineers

Structurally, we take no chances and rely on the advice of qualified professional engineers in both the design of the structure and site testing and verification. We test for proper soil compaction prior to pouring footings, we have our foundation walls and slabs inspected after forming, and we have the framing of the house inspected prior to wall coverings. These tests are done in addition to the normal inspections performed by the County or City inspectors.

Donnelly-Browne Workmanship

We stand behind our work and use the NAHB guidelines for workmanship and warranty issues. Every effort is made to respond quickly and effectively to any problem which may crop up. Approximately 6 months after closing, we perform a warranty evaluation with you and note any problems associated with settlement or material and workmanship issues, and send in our warranty team to correct any deficiencies. We continually use information gained in warranty repairs on existing homes to refine our material selection and building techniques with the goal of evolving our product into lower maintenance, longer lasting homes.

Stamp of Approval

We happily refer you to any existing home owner for their evaluation of the quality of our product. Our customers are the best measure of our success.
